About me

I'm not too big on sharing personal information* with the internet, but I will say, "No, my real name is not Bill or any variation of it." That name I actual derived for this wikia when I imaged what a Bullet Bill with a Lancer Assault Rifle would look like... and, I admit, alliteration is fun.

I joined Gearspedia because I was fascinated by the Gears of War Universe and wanted to learn more, and I admit, I have learned a lot over my short stay so far, and while I don't know how long I will be around, I intend to enjoy the ride the whole way.

My first major contribution was integrating the extra chapters of the PC version of Gears of War onto Gearspedia, which got contributors attention. I wrote out articles for the extra five chapters in Act 5: Desperation (well, technically Jurassic Proportions existed before I joined, but I made it longer than one sentence). While they all still need a lot of work, namely pictures, it's at least there.

Following that, I started cleaning up and rewriting articles connected to Act 3: Gathering Storm. I rewrote Niles Samson(Credit goes to JacktheBlack for the awesome Niles bio picture though), New Hope Research Facility, Mount Kadar, Ruth so that they're actual pages. Following that, I did maintenance work and clean ups.

With the announcement of Gears of War 3, I've also started on the pre-Gears of War 3 drive with the creation of the Retro Lancer article, which will need clean-up, and adding cascading information to other articles such as the playability of Locust creatures in the new Beast Mode. I've mainly worked on linking articles and updating articles, namely weapons, and updating information as it came in from E3.

Now, also in July 2010, I figured out the Forums work, so I created the Administrative Discussion Forum and might be working the forums on a more regular basis.
