Thrashball

Thrashball is a sport played on Sera. Nothing is known about it except that Augustus Cole played the sport. Judging on the size of Cole, it is undoubtedly a very physical sport, much like modern day American Football, or Rugby, since they use terms such as 40-yard line and defensive lineman. It could just be a future type of football but, again with Cole's size, could be largely more physical. The term "Thrash" supports this idea of Thrashball being more painful and hardcore than the football we know today.

• In Gears of War 2, in the multiplayer map "Day One" a Foosball thrashball arcade shows that in the back, there is a player with 3 shield-like things, along with regular offensive football-like players.
• And if you stand close enough, you will hear Coles voice from the game.
