It's just my opinion, but I think that spotter is just used as a military term, and that it does not actually apply to a certain type of Drone. It feel that the spotter is just a normal grub that happens to be spotting, not a special Drone trained to do nothing but spot. • In Military team, Real world machine guns use spotters (long with snipers) and every time you hit a Machine gun nest in GoW 1 and 2 they have two Locust gunners on the Troika. --Jack Black 19:47, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

• Rather than deleting this article how about adding this section to the gunner or another page as a tactic, as it seems that technically a spotter is not a specific drone type. But all in all I think this is an important page. --Hellisuva 02 January 2009
