A Muse of the Book Died[]

Karen Traviss muse named Sgt.Michael Lockett. http://karentraviss.typepad.com/ --Jack Black 11:07, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

  • It's tragic to hear when people die, especially soldiers fighting for their country; I wish the best for his family and that they find some peace knowing he died for his country. BuzzSawBill 04:26, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
He was on the news in the UK this morning. I didn't realise he was in the book's dedication until I saw this. He was the first British soldier to die having been previously awarded the Military Cross since World War Two. RIP, --EightyOne (talk) 13:19, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

Date Error[]

I've been reading the book for the first time and on Ch 10 of my book it says the date is 16 B.E. even tho it is just 2 years before E-Day. It is 16 years prior to the current day events happening and I think it is a misprint. I was wondering if it is just recent released books, or do they all have it? And if so then I was gonna add it to the Trivia section. Tivis014 01:48, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

The Dates in the books and game don't really match up.--JacktheBlack 02:04, January 22, 2012 (UTC)
I don't even remember any date in the game to be honest. Tivis014 02:47, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
GoW 1 was Fourteen years after E-Day, GoW 2 was 6 months after Gears of War 2, In the novels it states it winter but never that it was a new year or what. GoW 3 was two years after GoW 2.--JacktheBlack 04:02, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
I have no idea what you mean sorry :( I don't wanan turn a talk page into a forum either so I hope I'm not doing just that. It states it was in winter? I'm only half way threw the book, but so far the events are only a week or two after GoW 1 14 years after E-day, and if you saying that they went threw winter in the book. It's still warm in the present day parts I'm at. I've only half read Aspho fields so idk anything about the others except the titles and a brief summory. Tivis014 16:36, January 25, 2012 (UTC)
