This is your featured article? Sad....--71.134.250.179 01:10, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
The "Synopsis" and "Quotes" sections may be too long compared to the rest of the article. We should also have a better structure, such as:
- -Intro
- -History
- -Character Profile
- -Synopsis
- -Quotes
Rucha58 14:52, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Trust me, compared to how it used to be? The quotes section is nothing. If we cut it down any more the people who like adding "Oh shit!" as quotes would probably kill us.

GOW2 Quote[]
Has anyone else noticed that in Denizens (I can't remember the exact chapter name...it's when Ilima City has been sunk) when that building collapses, Dom says "On the right!" but it's on the LEFT from where you're standing to see it??? I just now noticed that. --blue.insanity.child. 7:18PM, Friday, March 13th, 2009. (UTC) (the second Friday the 13th of this year!!!)
It depends on were you are standing when the dialogue kicks in. The player was on the right spot when Dom said it at the 56 mark. But I do know what you are saying.--Jack Black 23:35, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I see now. ^_^ Thanks!!! :D Oh, and I feel very silly now for not remembering the chapter name..."Sinking Feeling." Really. So obvious. XD --blue.insanity.child. 7:53PM, March 13th, 2009. (UTC)
- No problem it happens to the best of us. And welcome to the wikia.--Jack Black 01:18, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
A small note[]
After finding maria (which is inadiquatly described in my oppinion) it says that he decides to go the direct path. i never herd any such thing and considering how little (contextualy) resistance they encountered i'd say they snuck in. considering that he is apparently a "seasoned fighter" then Dom would understand that the best way to hurt the locust would be the tactical rout, allowing him to indirectly wipe the bastards out.
- I agree that finding Maria is inadequately described and will address this when I am not at school using a library computer. However, after Dom shoots Maria, the dialogue of his cutscene with Marcus is something to the effect of:
- Marcus: You did what you had to do, Dom.
- Dom: Yeah...
- Marcus: Listen, I've scouted ahead, and there's a way we could sneak around and get to our objective quickly and quietly. But if you wanna go through guns blazing, I'm not gonna say no.
- Dom: ...I wanna kill em all.
- Doing that from memory, so yeah, not entirely accurate. But Dom basically said he wanted to go through 'guns blazing'. And everyone has a different definition of 'little resistance', so citing that as evidence isn't really effective. We're going by the context of the cutscene, which implied that they went the direct route.
- Besides that, Dom is going off emotion here, not logic. He isn't going to care about tactics; he wants to know how many Locust bastards he can saw in half.
- On a side note, this is Screennameless; I'm not signed in because I'm at school.
- Glad to see you alive Tori and yes since Dom is a ex-commando he should choose the easy route but the Last thing he had left from E-Day (Maria) was gone in the worse way (Holocaust style). So human emotion plus gameplay came in. Plus Fans demanded more story line and you guys got it. --Jack Black 16:01, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Trivia[]
I put in a trivia piece about how the picture of him for the Lightmass Offensive looks like Frank West. It was removed, but just look at it. It really DOES look like Frank West. Here:
The picture of Dom.
Frank West.
I think that's a notable trivia bit that shouldn't be removed. Frank-West 23:34, September 8, 2010 (UTC)
- It's just two picture's that have them in a kind of similar pose. It's not triva worthy. --The Forgotten Jedi 23:52, September 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Not just the pose. They both have dark jackets, white shirts, greenish pants. They even have the same haircut, and similar faces. Dom normally doesn't look much like Frank, but these two pictures look pretty similar. Frank-West 00:06, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter. It was not an intentional reference from either game to the other. --The Forgotten Jedi 00:08, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Intentional reference or not, it's still trivia. Trivia = near pointless information that is not commonly known/noticed. This qualifies. Also, the achievement "Photojournalist" for GOW has the same name as an achievement in Dead Rising, so MAYBE it was a little easter egg. Probably not, but it's still notable trivia. If you guys don't want it in then fine, I'm just saying that I think you should keep it, because they really do look alike. Frank-West 00:21, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
- We don't really have this kind of triva on this wiki. --The Forgotten Jedi 00:46, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
- To settle the debate, I'll ask Liam if that is a Frank West References.--Chairman Jack the Black 01:19, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Debate is over, Liam based it off Tyler Durden from Fight-Club. http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=427813493434#!/Liam.R.Sharp?v=wall&story_fbid=117459328308450&ref=notif¬if_t=share_comment --Chairman Jack the Black 13:01, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

In the introduction, it states "Dominic Santiago freed his Marcus"...
"Years later Dom freed his Marcus from Jacinto Maximum Security Prison"... I am assuming the writer meant to say "his friend Marcus"
There's a stature of Dom in Gears 4, namely in Fort Reval commerating actions he took part in to end the Pendulem Wars 2A00:23C7:1E86:BC00:D5EB:BB7:D0C8:2BB5 01:18, September 1, 2019 (UTC)
