[edit] The Highway and Work Camps
During Operation Hollow Storm Delta squad was able to locate the Locust Capital the Nexus via the Highway from the entrance of Mount Kadar. After battling though the work camps and discovering what happens to captured humans. Dom finally found his wife in the camp, but due to the condition she was in, killed her to put her out of her misery. Delta was able to infiltrate a Kantus Temple and into a Rock Worm slaughter house.

After battling Hordes of Drones and Boomers, Delta-One was able to infiltrate the main city and battled across the outer walls of the city. After heavy firefights Delta was able to deploy JACK and his homing beacon which allowed COG troops to deploy inside the Nexus city, which tested the defenses of the city since the city defenses were on the lower levels[1].

There's that glyph for 'queen' and 'Imulsion' again... also see 'Nexus' on there again. These are some kind of plans that indicate an attack on the Locust... but not from above, from below.
Sure as hell isn't us attacking from below, so who the hell are these plans referring to?
Pleas tell me it's not worms. I'm so sick of worms.
[edit] Civil War
After easily advancing into the Locust Capital (and realizing it) . Delta-One and the rest of the Gears discover the Locust are embroiled in a Civil war and it seems that the Lambent are winning. The Lambent seem to taking hold of the city and have captured one of its outer towers. The Lambent are in the process of capturing another one when Delta-One enter the city. Delta Squad does not meet as much resistance as they would otherwise have thanks to the Lambent forcing Locust forces to divert their guards elsewhere to stem the tide of Lambent drones.
[edit] The Palace and Locust Queen
Delta reunited and entered the Locust Palace and fought their way through it. There they learned from transmission from the Queen that the Locust planned to sink Jacinto in order to kill the Lambant Horde. During their journey through the palace, Delta found a terminal that JACK hacked into and found a recording from Adam Fenix that said that the best way to win the war was to sink Jacinto and flood The Hollow to drown the Locust. Delta finally made it to the Queen's chamber where they had an encounter with the Queen and Skorge. The Queen left leaving Marcus and Dom to fight Skorge while Cole and Baird chased after her. Marcus and Dom defeated Skorge, who escaped on the Hydra and Delta took two Reavers to return to Jacinto. After rescuing another Gear squad and destroying the Hydra and killing Skorge, Delta returned to Jacinto and as part of the new plan, the COG pulled all Gears out of the Hollow, including Nexus.
