The Shaoshi were the neighbors of the Pesanga people. They have a history of conflict with the Pesanga over water rights in Pesang.[1] After years of the Shaoshi raiding Pesang, the Pesanga people have gained considerable skill with the machete and have become capable soldiers. They are renowned in the COG for their stealth, courage, and ability to fight in mountain terrain.[2]
