Two months after the Lightmass bombing at Timgad, the Pirnah Badlands became the site of a series of major skirmishes and ambushes that left Gear squads KIA or MIA. Delta Squad was sent to find any survivors from the badlads. They only found the last surviving member of Echo-6, Corporal Michael Barrick. Pvt.Gil Gonzalez was killed in the badlands after Delta discovered a distress beacon.^[1]
