The Military Emergency Measures Act was a form of martial law in the COG military code. Violating some of the terms of the act was punishable by death.

Siege of Anvil Gate[]
During the Siege of Anvil Gate, Lt. Victor Hoffman declared martial law over Anvil Gate and the city of Anvegad. A civilian named Geril Atar broke the Military Emergency Measures Act when he stole food from the garrison, and was executed by Hoffman for his crime.[1]
