A 'Dark' version was introduced as part of a free map DLC that Season Pass owners could play exclusively from February 7th, 2017. It became available to all players on February 14th, 2017, but is only available for private play if the Season Pass has been purchased or the map is separately downloaded.
Impact Dark is set in the nighttime, with Sera's two moons visible in the night sky. The buildings and parts of the crashed Condor are on fire, and building and street lights are turned on, helping to illuminate the enemy through the smoke that has descended upon the battlefield. Weapon changes have also been made, changing how battles play out. The Longshots on either side have been replaced with Boltoks, the Buzzkill/Mulcher has been replaced with a Bolo Grenade, the Incendiary Grenade has been replaced with an Overkill, and the Torque Bow has been replaced with a Dropshot.
