Hondo was a Stranded in the employ of Aaron Griffin.

Hondo ran Aaron Griffins Imulsion supply factory in Char sixteen years after Emergence Day. Griffin became annoyed with Hondo when his last batch of Imulsion wasn't a high enough blend, and sent a note to him demanding that he get it right or he would kick his ass. Hondo was either killed or turned into a Lambent Human along with the rest of the staff at the refinery.[1]
