Gray was a civilian who volunteered to help bury bodies after Locust attacks.

Heading into the MountainsEdit

Gray lived in Ilima before Emergence Day. After the Locust began their war against Sera, Gray worked for several weeks helping bury bodies after Locust attacks in various cities, and got to know Dizzy Wallin and Chuck. Before the volunteers went to Halvo Bay to clean up after an attack there, Gray decided to head into the mountains to try to find a better way to survive.^[1]
