Glory is a multiplayer map in Gears of War 4. It is the site of a COG battery that was only used against the most strategic targets in order to maintain its secrecy. The map was introduced as part of a free map DLC that Season Pass owners could play exclusively from December 6th, 2016. It became available to all players on December 13th, 2016, but is only available for private play if the Season Pass has been purchased or the map is separately downloaded.
Glory is notable for having a mounted turret, located at the Fountain area, which directly overlooks the Frag Grenade spawn. Despite its power, it overheats quickly.
To unlock the Easter Egg, players need to shoot various books placed all over the map. Once all six have been shot in order, a seventh will appear in the 'Fountain' area, behind the turret. After shooting it, an alarm will sound and you'll have little time to activate a nearby button (located where the fourth book is). Doing this will cause the giant cannon to fire at the mountainside, creating a 'Mount Gearsmore' carving featuring Anthony Carmine, Anya Stroud, Dominic Santiago, and Minh Young Kim.
