Pvt.Gil Gonzalez, COG tags CSID#:465928-U425T-IR,^[1] was a fairly new Gear in Delta Squad two months after the Lightmass Bomb went off. He had been in basic training with Jace Stratton, and found it weird serving with a war hero such as Marcus Fenix. He was shot by Drones when the team investigated an old distress beacon and was ambushed shortly after. He was the only human casualty of the battle, bleeding to death in Jace's arms just as the last of the Boomers were finished off.^[2],^[1]
