Geobot
From Gears of War
Geobots are small robots used to store and map data. Adam Fenix used several geobots to map the Locust tunnel network, even without resonator technology. Damon Baird used a geobot to repair an APC found outside Adam Fenix's Estate inside the East Barricade Academy.

- Originally, the player was going to have to find geobots in levels, but were eventually replaced by COG Tags as they were easier to spot, you can still find these geobot through-out the game.
- Carmine picks up a geobot and Kim asks him:"Is that the resonator?" to which Carmine replies:"Nah."This is at beginning of Act 1:Fish in a barrel.
