Gears of War: Hollow Part Five is issue #5 of the Gears of War: Comic Series and is the fifth of six issues that make up the Hollow story arc. It was released in April 2009.

Official Wildstorm SummaryEdit

Following a series of cataclysmic events, Delta Squad find themselves in the strategically worst possible position for fighting their alien attackers – underground! The Locust overwhelm the team and the casualties mount as the completion of Delta's mission could mean their demise!^[3]

StoryEdit

After the sinking of Montevado Jace finds himself crushed under rubble from the sinking city. Dom finds Jace and removes the rubble freeing him. Both soon learn that their Lancer's were crushed and they only have their Snub Pistols. Barrick and Marcus were unscathed in the sinking and make their way towards Dom and Jace's position. Dom and Jace attempt to search for Marcus and Barrick and enter a tunnel full of Heart Leech's they start to clear out the tunnel, Marcus and Barrick arrive and help them finish the job. Delta then investigates Montevado, and feel more seismic activity. Unfortunately it's a Corpser tunneling, out of the tunnel comes Locust and Bloodmounts.
