Gears of War: Destroyed Beauty is a small booklet that gave readers the background story on Sera and the Coalition of Ordered Governments. It told readers of Seras' golden age, the gift of Imulsion and how it lead the Seran people to the Pendulum Wars that lasted 79 years, and the beginning of the Human-Locust War.
