The Garadaner Test Ranges were a weapons testing area located on an island off of the northeastern Tyran coast.

History

Hammer of Dawn Testing

In the last year of the Pendulum Wars, a mock town was set up in the Garadaner Test Ranges to have the Hammer of Dawn tested on it. Four Packhorses brought several scientists and military officials to view the test, including Professor Adam Fenix, his assistant Dr. Nevil Estrom, and Chief of the COG Defense Staff Gen. Bardry Salaman. The two low powered beams from the Hammer converged on the mock town and destroyed it, leaving only a smoking crater and a devastated landscape.
