Elaine Fenix was the mother of Marcus Fenix and the wife of Adam Fenix. She was a doctor and second only to her husband in the scientific field. Like Adam, she puts her career in front of her family. This caused her son to spend more time at the Santiago house than the Fenix Estate. She was killed when she went into the Hollow to search for Imulsion crystals, which they hoped to use as targeting lasers.[1]
