Chairman Daniel Vari was the Chairman of the Union of Independent Republics during the 62nd year of the Pendulum Wars. He'd ordered Furlin troops into neutral Vasgar so it can be used as a staging ground for invading the COG of Kashkur for its Imulsion supplies.

In the 62 year of the Pendulum Wars, the Vasgari government collapsed under pressure from the Unity party. Taking adventured of the crisis, Chairman Vari sent “peacekeepers” from Furlin to occupied the nation and set it as a staging ground for the invasion of Kashkur.^[1] Though the COG would successfully cutoff Imulsion supply to Vasgar, stranding the situation for the Vasgari people and Indie peacekeepers. While the invasion of Kashkur would grind to a halt at Anvil Gate.

Behind the ScenesEdit

Chairman Daniel Vari was only mention once in Gears of War: Anvil Gate, in an opening of a chapter with a direct quote from him.
