Clay Carmine is one of the 4 Carmine brothers in the Gears of War series. Clay is older than all other Carmines. Clay is only mentioned in the note attached to Benjamin's COG Tags in which he confirms that Clay is older.

Marcus Fenix collected Benjamin's COG tag, number 838186-22AO3-SF, and the note written to his brother Clay:

I hope you're doing well out there, Clay. Not sure where you are but I trust that the COG will get this letter to you safely. I know that you'll be excited for me, but it'd be great to hear from you before I ship out.
