Bullet Marsh

Bullet Marsh is a multiplayer map on the PC and Xbox 360 game Gears of War. It is one of the six maps that can be downloaded at no charge off Xbox Live's Marketplace. Bullet Marsh is a swamp that has deadly consequences for those who dare to travel into the darkness.

[edit] The Kryll
Unlike any other map, on Bullet Marsh the deadly bat-like Kryll can down you if you're not careful. Travelling into the darkness will give you a few seconds before you're consumed by the Kryll.
[edit] The Generator
All power needs a source and on Bullet Marsh there's a generator near Torque Bow. Shooting this a couple of times will cause the lights above both Longshots to turn off, thus leaving anyone unlucky enough to be standing below these lights open to the Kryll.
[edit] Purdy Mouth
Purdy Mouth is an achievement to win 20 multiplayer matches of 3+ rounds on Bullet Marsh. The easiest way to accomplish this is to do it on a local connection with two controllers. Set the bleedout time to five seconds and then get your enemy to run into the nearest darkness, when they're taken down by the Kryll it won't be long unil they're killed and victory is yours.

- Shoot the generator mentioned above to disallow access to the Longshot.
- Each Longshot spawn has a great view of the Torque Bow spawn.
- At the torque bow spawn are a pair of grenades hidden next to a bush to the left of the torque bow.
