The Battle near Jacinto City^[3] was a minor skirmish near the city of Jacinto, with Dominic Santiago leading a squad of four gears.

Before the firefight, Dom was looking over his picture of Maria and remembering the old days^[4]. However snapping back to reality, Dom leads Jace and four other gears in engaging at least half a dozen drones and killing three outside a building full of Stranded.^[5]

Three Drones where able to break into the buildings while the Gears engaged the remaining drones. They killed five Stranded before making it up the stairs. Dom decided he needed to make a quick decision and ordered Jace to cover him. Making it into the building, Dom frag tagged a Drone and gunned down another. On the top floor, Dom was able to save a family from the last drone.
