Adam Fenix's Estate

Adam Fenix's Estate is the setting of most of the chapters of Act 4: The Long Road Home and is located within the confines of the East Barricade Academy. It is the former residence of Adam Fenix, father of Marcus Fenix, and it contains several distinguishing characteristics. Firstly, the house is located atop a large hill and contains within it's walls a basement. That basement is the location for Adam's secret laboratory. Within this laboratory is a massive string of files that contain data for the Locust tunnel structure data. That is why here was one of the destinations of Delta Squad on their Campaign to arm and deploy the Lightmass Bomb.

Like most places in Empyra, the building is accessable by the Locust via their Emergence Holes. Interestingly, the house had an old APC at it's back entrance, suggesting that the Estate had been used for some kind of military operations before Delta Squad arrived.

The house also has extensive grounds, housing all sort of outbuildings and garden features. The sheer size and grandure of this estate means that Adam Fenix must have been a very wealthy man to afford such a large residence.

At the end of Act 4, Marcus and Dom must face waves and waves of attacking Locust units, and is thought by many to be the hardest part of the game, as there are so many Locust that they simply overwhelm the two defenders and surround them both.
